This European Directory of Patients’ Organisations is meant to provide basic information and contact details of patients’ organisations in Europe.

You can search patients’ organisations based on their name, the condition they work on, their operating level - national (local, regional, national) or European - and their country.

We are constantly updating the directory based on the following four criteria:

i. The organisation should be not-for profit.
ii. The organisation should be patient focused (for example, patient awareness and education, patient support and advocacy).
iii. Governing bodies should be elected by its members who are patients, their carers or their elected representatives.
iv. The statements and opinion of the organisation should reflect the views and opinions of its members through adequate consultation mechanisms.
